Description: Show the office and work environment in one of Intuitive buildings (Bldg 108). I will walk the students inside the building and show engineers daily work environment. I will use the demonstration area and let students see the technology, surgical systems and instruments that Intuitive develop for robotic-assisted surgery. I can give them a short introduction of Intuitive history, productions, and how da Vinci help empower doctors and hospitals to solve complex healthcare challenges. Then students will stand inside our da Vinci demo rooms. I will demonstrate how da Vinci Xi systems and instruments work. Students will be given 30min to an hour for Q&A on what they see and learn during the shadow hours. After Q&A, I can take them to cafeteria for a lunch and continue the Q&A there.
